The breakout role-playing game from Sandfall Interactive won the coveted Ultimate Game of the Year award, along with honors for Best Storytelling and Best Visual Design. Complementing the developer's success, the talented actors also were honored with individual awards. Jennifer English won Best Lead Performer for her role as Maelle, while Ben Starr took home Best Supporting Performer for his work as Verso. Moreover, Sandfall Interactive itself received Studio of the Year. Altogether, Clair Obscur and its makers achieved seven awards throughout the ceremony. Additional major winners featured Ghost of Yōtei, which won Outstanding Audio and Top Console Title, and Hollow Knight: Silksong, receiving Outstanding Independent Game and PC Game of the Year.
